ILLUMINATION LAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination lamp that has light emitting diodes as a light source and is hardly recognized of deterioration in luminous intensity of lighting failure parts, even if there occurs lighting failure in the light emitting diodes connected in series.SOLUTION: The illumination lamp 1 includes light emitting plates 2, 3 having a plurality of light emitting diode rows 9, 11 which are installed in a plurality of rows from one end sides 8a, 10a in longitudinal direction of substrates 8, 10 to the other end sides 8b, 10b and of which respective rows are electrically connected in series, a lamp body 4 which has an installation part 30 surrounding the one end side 4a and in which the other end side 4b is installed on the installation object, and the plurality of light emitting plates 2, 3 are installed on the installation part 30, an electric connection means 5 which connects in series each of the light emitting diode rows 9, 11 of the plurality of light emitting plates 2, 3 so that at least a portion of the plurality of rows of the light emitting diode rows 9, 11 of the light emitting plates 2, 3 may be connected in parallel, and a power supply device 6 which supplies electric current to the light emitting diode rows 9, 11 connected in series by the electric connection means 5.
