BIND INHIBITOR FOR LECTIN AND ANTI-LECTIN ANTIBODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for reducing a false positive reaction in immunoassay using lectin.SOLUTION: A bind inhibitor for lectin and anti-lectin antibody is provided which contains lectin and a saccharide residue containing carrier. The present inventor makes further researches and then finds out that, when lectin and the saccharide residue containing carrier are mixed beforehand and an immunoreaction of an antigen phase-solidified by lectin and an antibody in a sample with respect to that antigen is detected under the presence of a resultant mixture, binding of lectin and the anti-lectin antibody in the sample is effectively inhibited.
