Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air preheating device and an exhaust air recirculating device using the same, enabling high-efficiency heat exchange by applying a ceramic honeycomb structure in an element.SOLUTION: The element 7 of a heat exchanger 4 of the air preheating device is configured by arranging a number of cells formed to have a rectangular cross-section by ceramic partitions, on a grid. Exhaust air cell arrays 70A to which exhaust air is guided and air cell arrays 70B to which the air is guided are alternately arranged in the longitudinal direction or transverse direction of the grid. An uncooled exhaust air introducing path 2a is connected to openings of the exhaust air cell arrays at one end side of the element. A preheated air discharging path 8 is connected to openings of the air cell arrays at one end side. A cooled exhaust air discharging path 40 is connected to openings of the exhaust air cell arrays at the other end side. An unpreheated air introducing path 15 is connected to openings of the air cell arrays at the other end side.
