Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor which is provided with a metal oxide film formed by a wet treatment and can measure light irradiation, hydrogen gas, and atmospheric pressure and to provide a method for the production thereof.SOLUTION: The sensor is provided with a metal oxide film produced by a method comprising the organic film formation step of forming an organic film by using an undercoat composition containing an addition-polymerizable compound having three or more reactive groups, an addition-polymerizable compound having an acidic group, and an addition-polymerizable compound having a hydrophilic functional group, the metal salt formation step of converting the acidic group into a metal (M1) salt, the metal fixation step of fixing the metal (M1) salt of the acidic group as a metal (M2) salt by treatment with an aqueous metal (M2) ion solution, the reduction step of reducing the metal (M2) ion to form a metal film on the surface of the organic film, and the oxidation step of oxidizing the metal film. The sensor can detect light, hydrogen gas, and atmospheric pressure.
