Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote immunity of a patient afflicted with an inflammatory condition with an inability to be weaned off systemic or topical administered steroid treatment, and being on anti-inflammatory treatment with steroids.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an oligonucleotide having the following sequence: 5'-X-TTCGT-Y-3' (SEQ. ID. No. 18) wherein X is A, T, C or G, Y is A, T, C or G, m=0-7, n=0-7 and at least one CG dinucleotide is unmethylated and a sequence length of the oligonucleotide is 8-100 nucleic acid basis, for producing pharmaceutical formulations for enhancing steroid efficacy in a steroid dependent patient. The steroid efficacy in the patient is enhanced by using the oligonucleotide.
