PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for preventing or reducing depilation caused by cancer chemotherapy (the composition for anti-depilation against the depilation induced by the cancer chemotherapy).SOLUTION: The composition for the anti-depilation contains a compound represented by general formula (I) [wherein, Rand Rare the same or different, and each hydrogen or 1-3C lower alkyl; Rand Rare different, and each hydrogen, or a S-bonded SH compound or an ester thereof (with the proviso that cysteamine is excluded); and Ris hydroxy, an N-substituted amino acid, an ester thereof (with the proviso that aminoethanesulfonic acid and aminoethanesulfinic acid are excluded) or an amine] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof as an active ingredient.
