Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of stably heating a functional liquid such as ink, irrespective of a supply amount.SOLUTION: The recording apparatus includes: a carriage 41 with a recording head 45; a chamber room 52 for covering the carriage 41 while exposing a nozzle face NF of the recording head 45; a heating means 53 for heating an atmosphere in the chamber room 52; a stirring means 54 for stirring an atmosphere heated by the heating means 53; a temperature detecting means 55 for detecting the temperature of the atmosphere; and a control device for controlling the heating means 53 so that the atmosphere may become a prescribed temperature, based on the detection results of the temperature detecting means 55.
