SYNCHRONOUS SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE AND SYNCHRONOUS SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous signal processing device and a synchronous signal processing method capable of generating a vertical synchronous signal and more horizontal synchronous signals based on a data enable signal.SOLUTION: The synchronous signal processing device includes a first horizontal synchronous signal generating part 3 which generates a first horizontal synchronous signal hd1 based on the rising edge of a data enable signal dei, a count part 2 which counts the number of rising edges, a determination part 4 which compares the number of rising edges that has been counted with a predetermined number of vertical lines, and determines whether or not the number of rising edges has reached the number of predetermined number of vertical lines, a vertical synchronous signal generating part 5 which generates a vertical synchronous signal vdo if the number of rising edges reaches the number of predetermined number of vertical lines, a second horizontal synchronous signal generating part 6 which generates a second horizontal synchronous signal hd2 only by predetermined number of times for every predetermined pixel numbers when the number of rising edges reaches the number of predetermined number of vertical lines, and an OR circuit 9 which generates an output horizontal synchronous signal hdo from the logical sum of the first horizontal synchronous signal and the second horizontal synchronous signal.
