With this configuration, in a condition of a very low temperature, refreezing of drain water from the evaporator 10 generated by defrosting operation is prevented by energizing the refreezing prevention heater 40 and the drain water is discharged outside the outdoor unit 1 through the drain discharge port 45 thereby preventing breakage of portions composing the blower fan 9 and the evaporator 10.
