Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splitter apparatus for efficiently heating ice buildup of a gas turbine engine.SOLUTION: A splitter apparatus for the gas turbine engine includes a splitter 38 including: an annular outer wall 40 which defines a convex-curved leading edge at a forward end thereof; an annular floorplate 54 positioned radially inboard of the outer wall; and an annular first bulkhead 48 between the outer wall 40 and the floorplate 54. The outer wall 40, the floorplate 54, and the bulkhead 48 collectively define an annular splitter plenum 56 positioned adjacent the leading edge of the outer wall 40. At least one exhaust passage formed in the outer wall 40 extends past the floorplate and communicates with the exterior of the splitter 38. At least one jumper tube assembly 76 passes through the first bulkhead 48, each configured to pass air flow from the exterior of the splitter 38 into the plenum 56. |
