DOORWAY SAFETY DEVICE OF ELEVATOR CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doorway safety device of an elevator car that eliminates the need of troublesome seasonal adjustment of a reflective photoelectric sensor and can attain safety by appropriately detecting obstacles near a door device stably throughout the year.SOLUTION: The doorway safety device of the elevator car includes a door device having door panels 2a and 2b movable right and left, where a doorway 1 is opened or closed by moving the door panels 2a and 2b between the door closing position of closing the doorway 1 and a door pocket 4 on the side of the doorway 1, and a reflective photoelectric sensor can irradiating a part near a doorway pillar 3a on the inner surface of the door panel 2 with a sensor beam for obstacle detection through a gap between the doorway pillar 3a on the side of the doorway 1 from the door pocket 4 side and the door panel 2a in a state where the door panels 2a and 2b are at closed positions.
