METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING EXPANDER ROLL AND SHEET-LIKE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expander roll or the like which has an extremely simple structure, excels in maintainability, and can smooth wrinkles of a sheet-like member.SOLUTION: The expander roll 1 is configured mainly of a shaft 3, a tubular body 5, and the like. The shaft 3 is a rod-like member curved at a predetermined curvature. Although the curvature of the shaft 3 is set appropriately according to a use condition or the like, a curvature where a curvature radius is approximately 10 m can be employed taking into account slip resistance against the tubular body described later. In addition, as the shaft 3, a tubular member and a rod-like member can be employed. The tubular body 5 is a flexible tube formed of resin. The shaft 3 is inserted into the tubular body 5. That is, an outer periphery face of the shaft 3 directly comes into contact with the inner periphery face of the tubular body 5. The tubular body 5 is slightly shorter than the shaft 3 so that the shaft 3 is exposed by a predetermined length from both ends of the tubular body 5.
