PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine that can detect a fault in sewing at an early stage without causing upsizing of a sewing machine bed.SOLUTION: The sewing machine 1 is provided with a sewing machine bed 2 for placing a processed fabric thereon, a fabric feeding mechanism that is provided in the sewing machine bed 2 and for moving the processed fabric in a prescribed feed direction, first imaging means that is provided in the sewing machine bed 2 and for imaging a first area of the lower surface of the processed fabric, second imaging means for imaging a second area of the lower surface of the processed fabric that is different from the first area. The respective images of the lower surface of the processed fabric moved in the feed direction that are imaged by the first imaging means and the second imaging means are synthesized and the synthesized image is displaced on a display unit 7.
