Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-degree-of-freedom actuator that can be downsized and can obtain further large driving force by contacting a rotating body at a plurality of places.SOLUTION: A multiple-degree-of-freedom actuator Da comprises a plurality of translational thrust elements 2 generating translational thrust, and a rotating body 1 engaging the plurality of translational thrust elements 2 with a predetermined frictional force. The multiple-degree-of-freedom actuator Da having such a configuration can be downsized because of the use of the plurality of small-sized translational thrust elements 2, and can obtain further large driving force because of contacting the rotating body 1 at a plurality of places.
