Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber/lens substrate assembly in which a damage is hard to occur, and which automates a manufacture and can reduce the manufacturing cost, and constitutes, for instance, an optical connector.SOLUTION: The optical fiber/lens substrate assembly 10 includes: an optical fiber component 11 which includes a coated optical fiber 20, and an end face fixing resin block 30 in which the coated optical fiber 20 is embedded, and the cross section of an optical fiber wire 21 constituting the coated optical fiber 20 and the cross section of a secondary coated film 24 are exposed on the smooth surface 31 of the end face fixing resin block 30; and a lens substrate 40 adhered onto the smooth surface 31 of the end face fixing resin block 30.
