Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy in position detection using a semi-passive RFID.SOLUTION: The position detection system, which is installed for each of a plurality of areas, includes a plurality of transmission sections for periodically transmitting a signal including position information corresponding to each area, an electronic tag section for transmitting, when it receives the signal transmitted from the transmission section, a signal including the position information contained in the signal and identification information for identifying an own machine allocated beforehand, a detection information generation section for outputting, when the signal transmitted from the electronic tag is received, detection information including last position information which is position information included in, among signals including identification information coincident with that included in the currently received signal, a last received signal, current position information which is position information included in the currently received signal, and the identification information, and a position determination section for determining, among the plurality of areas, an area where the electronic tag section is located based on the combination of the last position information and current position information included in the detection information.
