Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method by an anaerobic treatment of a tetraalkylammonium hydroxide-containing wastewater, the method preventing a decrease in decomposition activities of the tetraalkylammonium hydroxide.SOLUTION: The method is provided for treatment of wastewater containing the tetraalkylammonium hydroxide. The method performs the anaerobic treatment of the wastewater under the existence of a monohydric alcohol according to an upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) system.
