PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable updating of operation and display of available time at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: The microcomputer 6 of a battery B performs operation and correction processing of dischargeable integration capacity, and the like, based on power consumption information received from a device body 100, a battery temperature detected by a thermistor 7, a battery cycle (number of times of charge/discharge), and the like; and the microcomputer 8 of the device body 100 operates available time based on the dischargeable integration capacity received from the battery B, and displays the available time on a display unit 11. When there is a change in power consumption, the operation and display of the available time are updated and notified to a user if the change in the available time operated based on the change in power consumption exceeds correction time t1. If the change is within the correction time t1(region 2), the operation and display of the available time are not updated, and the available time operated with power consumption before change, for example, is notified continuously to the user.
