Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording and reproducing system capable of increasing storage capacity of a data disk drive while reducing weight and complexity of a read/write head or the like.SOLUTION: Thermal conductive metals 610 are deposited in multiple annular concave parts on one main surface of a glass substrate 245, top parts of multiple annular convex parts and top parts of the multiple thermal conductive metals deposited in the multiple annular concave parts are made flush with each other, and magnetic recording layers 202, 204 are formed thereon. Parts of the magnetic recording layers, which are provided on the top parts of the multiple thermal conductive metals, are used as multiple magnetic data tracks 103.
