HERMETIC COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor having a low input, by preventing an increase of a frictional resistance between a holder and a lower race, which are caused by the total contact of a lower surface of the holder with an upper surface of the lower race, when stopping and starting operation using the holder worn out at the continuous operation.SOLUTION: In the hermetic compressor, a rib 164 is radially provided from an inner peripheral side 170 of the holder 154 toward an outer peripheral side 172, the rib for reinforcing the holder 154 at the lower surface of the holder 154 and for preventing the total contact of the holder 154 with the upper surface 159 of the lower race 158. By this arrangement, the total contact between the holder 154 and the lower race 158 is avoided at the start-up, so that the frictional resistance between the holder 154 and the lower race 158 is prevented from being increased to prevent the deterioration of strength due to wearing of the lower surface of the holder 154, thereby suppressing an increase of the input and improving the reliability.
