PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power transmission control device capable of preventing slip generated in a lock-up clutch while an instruction for changing an engagement state from a full engagement state.SOLUTION: A torque down control means 104 executes engine torque down control for reducing engine torque Te when a slip in a lock-up clutch 30 is generated while there is no instruction for changing an engagement state from a full engagement state, and continues the engine torque down control until driver request engine torque Te* is equal to or lower than the engine torque Te during the engine torque down control. Accordingly, while there is no instruction for changing the engagement state from the full engagement state of the lock-up clutch 30, the slip of the lock-up clutch 30 is prevented, and the slip in the lock-up clutch 30 is prevented from being generated again upon the completion of the engine torque down control.
