Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist device of a foldable door, capable of being lightly opened and closed with a coil-type spring as a drive source, and being surely closed from the middle part of an opening/closing stroke to a moving end.SOLUTION: The assist device includes a first support structure provided with a coil type first spring 21, a second support structure provided with a coil type second spring 22, and a switching implement 60 for switching the state of both the support structures. A braking structure is provided near the moving end of a first door panel 1. For instance, when the first door panel 1 is to be closed by the first spring 21 of the first support structure, energizing force of the second spring 22 of the second support structure is added in the middle of the movement of the first door panel 1, and the first door panel 1 is moved to the moving end while braking the movement in the braking structure.
