Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for removing pollutants from an exhaust stream generated by combustion devices.SOLUTION: A pollutant removal system 100 for use with a power generation system, includes: a particulate control device 14 configured to remove, by means of a filter 104, particulates consisting of a pollutant sorbent and fly ash from a flue gas stream produced within the power generation system, the particulate control device cleaned on a predetermined cleaning cycle; and a sorbent control system 102 including a sorbent injector 60 for controllably injecting the sorbent into the flue gas stream upstream of the particulate control device 14, the sorbent control system configured to adjust a sorbent injection rate according to the cleaning cycle.
