MULTIBAND ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiband antenna capable of transmitting and receiving radio waves at multi-frequencies and with a wide band.SOLUTION: A multiband antenna dealing with transmission and reception waves at multi-frequencies and with a wide band includes a shank connected to a single feeding part and common to a lower frequency band and a higher frequency band, and a feeding element for the lower frequency band and a feeding element for the higher frequency band branched out from the shank using a frequency band as a unit. The feeding element for the lower frequency band and the feeding element for the higher frequency band are antenna elements having asymmetrical structure. By the above structure, a frequency in the lower frequency band is handled by distributing current in the shank and the feeding element for the lower frequency band, and a frequency in the higher frequency band is handled by distributing current in the shank and the feeding element for the higher frequency band. Thus, the multiband antenna deals with transmission and reception of radio waves at multi-frequencies and with a wide band.
