Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable sealed battery which is free from electrolyte leakage due to an impact.SOLUTION: In a sealed battery 10, an electrode body 14 is housed in an exterior container 15 provided with an opening, and the opening of the exterior container is sealed with a sealing body 16. The sealed battery 10 is characterized in that: the sealing body is provided with a safety valve 24 which cleaves in response to an internal pressure rise of the sealed battery; an insulating plate 22 is fixed to the sealing body; a spacer 23 is fixed to the electrode body; and the insulating plate 22 and the spacer 23 are tightly fixed to each other.
