FILLING DEVICE OF AUTOMATIC PACKAGING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling device of an automatic packaging machine, the filling device improving the precision of measurement of packaged articles to allow a set amount of packaged articles to be certainly filled into a packaging material.SOLUTION: The filling device 11 includes a hopper 20 which accumulates the packaged articles M, a measuring unit 21 which measures the volume of the packaged articles M, and a connection chute 22 which fills the packaged articles M into a packaging material 1. The measuring unit 21 has a classifying board 24 which has a classifying grid 24a drilled thereon to receive the packaged articles M cast from the hopper 20 through a packaged article casting inlet 23a and which can slide in a linear direction, and a measuring board 25 which is located under the classifying board 24 and has a measuring grid 25a drilled thereon to receive the packaged articles M cast from the classifying grid 24a, drilled at a position of no overlap with the packaged article casting inlet 23a in the vertical direction. The classifying board 24 is made to slide to cast a given amount of the packaged articles M classified by the classifying grid 24a into the measuring grid 25a to measure the volume of the packaged articles M.
