PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which prevents steering feeling from being reduced even when vehicle weight varies with loading conditions.SOLUTION: A vehicle weight W and battery voltage PIG of battery 100 are input into a current limit value deciding section 24. The current limit value deciding section 24 acquires a maximum output limit value of motor drive current corresponding to the input vehicle weight W, and changes an output current limit value on a map defined by the battery voltage and output current limit value on the basis of a map defined by the vehicle weight and maximum output limit value. The current limit value deciding section 24, decides output current limit values Iul, Ivl and Iwl corresponding to a detected battery voltage PIG on the basis of the map defined by the battery voltage and output current limit value, and outputs it to a motor drive current limiting means 23.
