Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument which prevents fatigue or loss of skills due to adoption of an unnatural hand position.SOLUTION: The surgical instrument 10 comprises a tool part 11 and a grip part 12 connected to each other via a ball and socket joint or any other double-axis joint. The joint allows the surgeon to work in a non-fatigue, ergonomic and sensitive manner. A tool held on the tool part can be mechanically actuated by an actuation member 26. Additional actuation elements such as electrical switches can be arranged on the grip part to activate the tool by supplying a current or the like. The transmission connection between the grip part and the tool is achieved via rigid levers and connecting pieces, or via flexible elements such as a traction cord, or via rigid components with an integral hinge. To disconnect the pivoting movement of the grip part towards the tool part from the actuation of the tool, at least one joint 38 of a transmission device 34 is arranged in the center of the joint. |
