PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically switching a mobile station from one base station to another available base station when all channels for communicating with the one base station are in use.SOLUTION: In a situation where all communication channels of a base station 1A are occupied, the base station 1A broadcasts broadcast information with base station-switching request information added thereto via a common control channel (CCCH) to subordinate mobile stations. Among mobile stations which have received the base station-switching request information, the mobile stations other than those engaged in communications via a dedicated channel perform location registration-switching to other base stations.
