Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an allocation period so as to reduce delay without restricting uplink throughput.SOLUTION: A dynamic band allocation method comprises: minimum guarantee band allocation process in which an OLT allocates queue length notified of by each ONU without change as an allocation band of each ONU; comparison process of comparing an allocation period and a predetermined threshold, where the allocation period is the sum total of reception period of an uplink signal and the allocation band allocated in the minimum guarantee band allocation process; and best-effort band allocation process of allocating a residual band, which is the difference between the threshold and the allocation period, as a best-effort band when the result of the comparison shows that the allocation period is equal to or smaller than the threshold.
