PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a plasma display panel securing high reliability.SOLUTION: In a plasma display panel (PDP) of the present invention in order to solve the problem, a display electrode and a dielectric layer are formed on one substrate. In the dielectric layer, a thickness of a dielectric film on a transparent electrode is 24.5 μm or less, and a thickness of a dielectric film on a metal bus electrode is equal to or thicker than the thickness of the dielectric film on the transparent electrode. Here, a difference between the thickness of the dielectric film on the metal bus electrode and the thickness of the dielectric film on the transparent electrode in the dielectric layer is preferably 7.0 μm or less.
