PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-processor system for preventing the deterioration of an operating ratio as a system even when the failure of a main processor is generated, and for suppressing the increase of lifecycle costs.SOLUTION: In this multi-processor system, C0A operation monitoring means 306 monitors the state of a main processor which performs the start processing of a board, and when the C0A operation monitoring means 306 detects the non-operating state of the main processor, C0A isolation means 307 isolates the processor as the main processor, and privilege management table updating means 303 updates a privilege management table, and C0B notification means 308 notifies the new processor of itself becoming the main processor on the basis of the updated privilege management table.
