Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyurethane resin water dispersion having a narrow molecular weight distribution, using no organic solvents when dispersed in water, and giving dry films excellent in physical properties; and to provide a polyurethane resin water dispersion obtained by the production method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing the polyurethane resin water dispersion (Q), which method comprises dissolving in supercritical state or subcritical state water (A) a polyurethane resin (U) provided by using no organic solvents and having a terminal isocyanate group content of ≤0.2 mmol/g, and then performing at least one operation of cooling and decompression to form polyurethane resin particles (U1) having volume-average particle diameter (Dv) of 0.005-5 μm.
