AIR CONVEYOR, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING AIR CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a resin-made container 6 conveyed by an air conveyor 2 from being deformed by a collision etc.SOLUTION: Resin-made containers 6 conveyed by the air conveyor 2 are provided with air nozzles 22 that jet air to a body 6c from the reverse side to a conveyance direction, and sensors 38, 40 that detect the number of resin-made container groups of the resin-made containers 6 which are continuously conveyed are also provided upstream, a controller 42 controls the pressure of the air jetted from the air nozzle 22 in accordance with signals from the sensors 38, 40, and if the number of the container groups is smaller than 10, air is not reversely jetted, and if the number is 10 to 19, air is reversely jetted at weak air jetting pressure, if the number is 20 or larger, air is reversely jetted at strong air jetting pressure.
