Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head rest which reduces a reaction force to the head of an occupant of a rear seat upon frontal collision, and to provide a vehicle seat including the head rest.SOLUTION: A pressure bearing member 16 attached ranging from a top frame section 14A to a side frame section 14B includes an inclined wall portion 16A. The inclined wall portion 16A is located at a position corresponding to a position (contact part) where the head of an occupant of a rear seat (not shown) comes in contact with the back of a head rest cushion 12 during frontal collision, and bears a load acting from the rear side of the seat in a front-rear direction on the head rest cushion 12. The inclined wall portion 16A is inclined towards a seat front-rear direction front side with respect to the side frame section 14B at an inclination angle such that a lower end portion 16AL of the inclined wall portion 16A is positioned further to the seat front-rear direction front side than an upper end portion 16AU of the inclined wall portion 16A.
