Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optometer which has higher safety upon measurement of a subject eye.SOLUTION: The optometer includes: face support members (112, 116) to support the face of a subject; a drive mechanism (first drive means) 113 to drive a jaw receiving part 112 included in the face support members; a measurement part 110 to measure a subject eye of the subject; a drive part (second drive means) 120 to drive the measurement part 110 in XYZ directions; and control means for performing control so as to change the drive method of the drive part 120 when a distance between the face support members and the measurement part 110 reaches a prescribed value.
