OPENING/CLOSING STRUCTURE OF ASHTRAY LID FOR GAME MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a location of a beverage container when an ashtray lid is closed, allowing the lid to fully open without interfering with a counter of each game machine when an ashtray is used and allowing the lid to be additionally mounted on an existing ashtray.SOLUTION: The lid 6 has a diameter larger than an opening of the ashtray 3 and the upper surface is flatly formed. The base part of the lid 6 is pivoted to a shelf base 2 with a hinge 7 having a vertical shaft. This constitution allows a user to place the beverage container A thereon when the lid 6 is closed and can secures the location, even when the shelf base becomes narrow by the installation of the counter of each game machine. The lid 6 is configured to be turned, so that even when a carrying-out line 4a for the counter of each game machine is laid in the upper part, the carrying-out line neither obstruct the lid turning operation nor reduce the usability of the ashtray 3. Furthermore, the hinge 7 of the lid 6 is attached to the shelf base 2, so that the lid can be additionally mounted on the established ashtray 3, thus being mounted inexpensively.
