| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently save power in a device having a USB host controller.SOLUTION: An information processing device previously prepares a setting table in which operation necessity information for setting the necessity of operation in a power saving mode is associated with identification information on a USB unit. In transition to the power saving mode, the information processing device obtains identification information from USB units connected to a USB host controller to check the operation necessity information in an entry corresponding to each of the obtained identification information in the setting table. When all the connected USB units are set not to operate in the operation necessity information, the information processing device stops power supply to the USB host controller. When at least one of the connected USB units is set to operate in the operation necessity information, the information processing device continues power supply to the USB host controller. |
