Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film such as a polycarbonate resin and a retardation film that has a small photoelastic coefficient for suppressing image irregularity, has superior heat resistance and can exert wavelength dispersion characteristics of negative phase difference despite a single film.SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin is prepared using a diol component including an aromatic diol compound represented by the following general formula (1). The retardation film is obtained by acquiring a sheet or a film from the polycarbonate resin by melt extrusion method and drawing it at least in one direction. (In the formula, Aand Arepresent arbitrary bivalent groups including no aromatic ring structure, and X represents any one of a methylene group, a carbonyl group, and a direct coupling.) |
