Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing member which can be manufactured at a low cost and can be made compact easily, a portable electronic apparatus with the waterproofing member, and a waterproofing method for reliably keeping out water at a low cost.SOLUTION: A hollow part 12 is formed in a waterproof tube 8. Through holes 15, 20 of an upper casing 1 and a lower casing 2 are flexibly connected to each other. A waterproofing connection part 30 for airtightly connecting the through hole 15 is integrally formed at an end. The portable electronic apparatus has a hinge part, and a cable for electrically connecting electronic circuits of the upper casing 1 and the lower casing 2 with the through hole 15 and the through hole 20. The waterproof tube 8 is formed inside the hinge part, and the cable is inserted in the waterproof tube 8. In the waterproofing method, the waterproofing connection part 30 is integrally formed at one end of the waterproof tube 8, and the waterproofing connection part 30 is connected to the through hole 15 so that the through hole 15 and the waterproof tube 8 are airtightly connected.
