Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine ignition system capable of suppressing a drop of an output voltage of a DC-DC converter and allowing a spark plug to discharge for an ignition required period continuously and reliably.SOLUTION: According to an ignition system SYS, a DC-DC converter CNV can switchably function in a forced voltage increase mode and a feedback mode, so that a bias voltage can be forcibly increased at desired timing in a discharge required period. Accordingly, as the DC-DC converter CNV is switched to the forced voltage increase mode at proper timing, a voltage value Vout can be returned to a set voltage, before the bias voltage Vout is significantly dropped.
