Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg continuum that is advantageous for miniaturization when performing storage or the like for instance, and to provide a prepreg manufactured from such a prepreg continuum.SOLUTION: The prepreg continuum 40 includes: a fibrous base material 2; a first resin layer 3 and a second resin layer 4 formed at both sides of the fibrous base material respectively; and a metal layer 12 formed on the first resin layer 3, and is cut in the middle of the longitudinal direction thereof, and the cut one becomes a prepreg 1. Two or more defective parts 401 in which the portions of the first resin layer 3, the second resin layer 4, and the metal layer 12 are lost over the respective width directions in the middle of the longitudinal direction of the prepreg continuum 40 are periodically formed along the longitudinal direction.
