Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety and responsiveness to a level satisfactory for a user, in an apparatus for performing control for handling erroneous accelerator pedal depression.SOLUTION: An erroneous pedal depression control means 2 selects a control level of an actuator 31 to 33 to suppress sudden acceleration of a vehicle on the basis of having detected the erroneous acceleration pedal depression by a driver of the vehicle, and makes a vehicle control section 4 implement control contents corresponding to the selected control level. An erroneous pedal depression control cancel section 3 acquires a present control level, and when a detection signal is input from cancel sensors 17 and 21 to 25 for accepting cancel operation etc., the control level is gradually decreased with an amount based on the input detection signal, and outputs a control content corresponding to the control level of the decreased result to the vehicle control section 4. The vehicle control section 4 releases control of the actuator 31 to 33 in the portion according to the control content acquired from the erroneous pedal depression control cancel section 3.
