FALLING PREVENTION STRUCTURE AND FALLING PREVENTION METHOD FOR SERVER RACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a server rack from falling from the rack of the end of the column of the server rack.SOLUTION: Disclosed is the falling prevention structure and falling prevention method of a server rack, which being configured such that a rack column consisting of rack groups 30 to 50 and a rack column consisting of rack groups 60 to 80 are arranged with the front faces of rack casings faced to each other with intervals, and that the top faces of the arbitrary rack casings of the rack groups 30 and 60 and the rack groups 50 and 80 faced to each other at the both ends are respectively connected by using vibration isolating dampers 90 and 92 having vibration isolating functions, and that the top faces of the arbitrary rack casings of the rack groups 40 and 70 faced to each other in the center are connected by using a vibration isolating damper 91 having the vibration isolating function. Thus, it is possible to prevent the server rack from falling from the rack side of the end of the column due to resonance even when the mass of the server rack is increased as a whole.
