TIME RECEIVER, RADIO CONTROLLED TIMEPIECE, AND CODING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time receiver, a radio controlled timepiece, and a coding method with which coding processing is simplified, and time data can be appropriately acquired.SOLUTION: The time receiver includes receiving means (an antenna 2 and a receiving circuit 3) for receiving a standard radio wave containing the time data composed of frames, coding means (a coding unit 711) for coding a demodulated signal of the standard radio wave received by the receiving means for every bits of the time data to obtain the time data, and starting position fixing means (starting position fixing unit 712) for fixing a starting position of the frame based on the time data coded by the coding means. The coding means changes coding conditions of the demodulated signal before and after fixation of the starting position by the starting position fixing means.
