PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect temperature of ambient objects of a humidification device to reduce ambient dew condensation and to efficiently spray humidified air.SOLUTION: The humidification device is obtained including a humidifying means 3 by one or both of evaporation and spray of water of a water supply tank 2, a wind sending means 4a constituted of a fan and a motor for sending humidification air into a room by the humidifying means 3, a wind direction control means 5 that can change the wind direction of the humidified air from the wind sending means 4a, a temperature distribution detecting means 7 which divides a front space of a blowing part 6 of the wind direction control means 5 into a plurality of regions to detect the temperature of each region and in which detection elements are disposed in a matrix shape and a control means 8a controlling the humidifying means 3, the wind sending means 4a and the wind direction control means 5 by the temperature distribution detecting means 7, blowing is performed by avoiding an ambient furniture and the like having comparatively low temperature in the room and dew condensation formed by contact of the humidified air in immediate contact with the furniture and the like having low temperature can be prevented.
