Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator for neutron detection, wherein a small-sized and lightweight silicon photodiode has a highly sensitive emission wavelength, the effective atomic number is relatively small, and light emission does not easily occur by gamma rays.SOLUTION: The scintillator for neutron detection includes a colquiriite-type fluoride monocrystal containing at least one element selected from Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn and at least 0.80 atom/nmofLi. The neutron beam detector is provided with the scintillator for neutron detection and a photodetector.
