DOOR ENGAGEMENT DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door engagement device for an elevator which can be applied to an existing elevator with an inside opening rope and also can be easily installed.SOLUTION: A loading-side door engagement device 1 provided at the loading-side door has a hook 3 for locking the loading-side door when the loading-side door is closed and unlocking it by being rotated, and an inside opening means provided at the hook 3 for rotating and unlocking the hook 3. The hook 3 includes a movable roller 9 with which a car-side door engagement device 4 on the car-side door is engaged when the car-side door is opened. In the door engagement device for the elevator including a hole 11 in the hook 3 and the inside opening rope 10 attached to the hole 11, the inside opening means has a lock-member rotating means for rotating and unlocking the hook 3 by the car-side door engagement device 4 which can operate the inside opening means in the case the car-side door engagement device 4 is not engaged with the movable roller 9 when the car-side door is opened.
