FILLING DEVICE AND FILLING DEVICE CHECKING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling device and a filling device checking method capable of keeping uniform chromaticity by restraining variation of light emission intensity of a fluorescent substance contained in liquid resin.SOLUTION: A potting device is a filling device for filling a package part which is a container, on the bottom of which a light emitting element is arranged, with liquid resin containing a fluorescent substance excited by lights from the light emitting element and emitting lights as sealing resin. The potting device comprises a syringe 2 for storing the sealing resin, a light source part 10 for emitting lights on the fluorescent substance toward the syringe 2, a measuring part 11 for measuring intensity of the lights emitted from the fluorescent substance, and a control part 9 for determining abnormality when the light emission intensity measured by the measuring part 11 is beyond a predetermined range. The light source part 10 is constituted by an illumination device 10a for illumination, and a radiating fiber 10b for emitting lights. The measuring part 11 is constituted by a measuring fiber 11a for receiving and transmitting the lights from the fluorescent substance, and a light measuring instrument 11b for measuring the light emission strength and notifying the control part 9.
