HIGH-CURRENT COIL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-current coil component which can achieve high-inductance characteristics with a simple structure and can be adapted to a high current, while featuring excellent assemblability and mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A high-current coil component comprises: a closed magnetic circuit core 1 which is formed in a cylindrical shape; a pair of insulating core covers 3 which are inserted from one end and the other end of the closed magnetic circuit core into an opening 2 so that their tip faces 4a come into contact with each other in the opening, and which are provided with a plurality of insertion holes 7a and 7b respectively communicating to both end faces; and conductive metal bars 11 which are inserted into the insertion holes 7a and 7b of the insulating core covers 3. On each of the conductive metal bars 11, a stopper 13 against detachment from the insulating core cover 3 is formed by bending a tip 11b which extends outward from the insulating core cover 3.
